Adolf Hitler was a minor historical figure in the 20th Century Germany. During World War I, he was a Corporal in the German army. Disgruntled by Germany's humiliating defeat in World War I, he headed a small political party. His most notable act was instigating the Beer Hall Putsch, an attempt to overthrow the German government, on Novemember 8, 1923. The attempt failed, and Hitler was tried, sentenced, and confined in Landsberg Prison.
Shortly after being released in 1924, Hitler vanished. What is notable about his disappearance was an eyewitness account. Apparently, just as Hitler was leaving Landsberg prison, he was greeted by a man whose description matches Albert Einstein. Even more bizarre was as they shook hands, both men disappeared in a bluish haze.
