[edit] History
The Amphibious transports used by the Allies and the Soviets during Great World War III were the successors of the GWWII Transport. They were more improved in their hovering abilities, as they could move on land equally as on water. While the old Transports can carry 5 units (any kind), this new Amphibious Transports has 12 slots. Infantry use one slot, Terror Drones use two, vehicles use three, Apocalypse Tanks and MCVs use six. During the Psychic Dominator Disaster, the Soviet traitor Yuri also used these transports in his arsenal (known as "Hover Transports"). For all intents and purposes, Yuri's transports were identical to that of the allies, and the crewmen seems to have been brainwashed into serving him. The only distinguishing feature of those Transports were a new paintjob, matching the burnished brown of other Yuri forces. For some reason, the space requirements of Apocalypses were also dropped to three slots.
[edit] World War III
They were outdated during World War III and the Allies replaced them with the Riptide ACV, while the Soviets replaced them with the aerial Twinblade. The Imperial equivalent is the Sudden Transport. Of course note that some units are amphibious so no need
