Annual Energy Summit

The Annual Energy Summit was a conference held by the top leaders of GDI, as well as experts in the fields of science, economics, and military to consult with in deciding policy. Because of its importance, news agencies sent reporters to follow up on the event.

In 2047, the meeting was held on board the Philadelphia, and held for five days. Director-General Lia Kinsburg had presented a policy of "preservation": to begin reclamation efforts to the point of making the Red Zones habitable by 2112. Also, it was announced that GDI would award the GDI Medal of Honor to a notable scientist on his research on Tiberium.

The 2047 Summit was used by the Brotherhood of Nod as a way of eliminating GDI's top leaders by destroying the space station.
