Ever since armoured warfare began, one of the important questions was: How to keep the infantry with the tanks. Tanks without infantry could quickly be slaughtered, even in the Tiberium age, by rocket infantry, which often necesitated an infantry screen. Furthermore, some infantry, such as commandos, needed a safe way to get in and out of difficult combat situations. The APC has had a prominant place in modern combat.

Models of the APC:

• M113 APC: APC used primarily by the Allies during Great World War II, and GDI during the TWI.

• Amphibious APC: APC used by GDI during the TWII.
• Repair APC: APC with the capability to repair nearby vehicles. Used by the Steel Talons division of GDI.
• Guardian Advanced APC: APC used by GDI during TWIII.

G10 Bull APC: Specialized APC used by the 22nd Infantry Division of GDI.

• Nod APC: Unnamed APC developed by Nod during the latter half of the TWI.
• Subterranean APC: Burrowing APC used by Nod during TWII.
• Reckoner: APC that could be made into a bunker. Used by Nod during TWIII.
