The battleship is a capital warship used by both GDI and Nod in Tiberium Wars.

The GDI warship uses a tumblehome hull form. It has two cannon on each flank, two surface-to-air missile box launchers, and a vertical launch system for surface-to-surface missiles. Ground forces, such as sniper teams may direct the fire of the SSMs (although this is only used in the Langley AFB mission of the GDI campaign).

The Nod counterpart uses a conventional hull shape and relies heavily on gun armament. There are two batteries of three three-gun turrets each both fore and aft. Secondary armament consists of five sponson-mounted two-gun turrets on each flank. Five VLS tubes are located forward of the forward main battery.

[edit] Game Unit

The only time GDI battleships fire are in the GDI missions where sniper teams call in SSM fire. In all other missions GDI and Nod battleships do not fire and serve mainly as destructible objectives.
