The buzzer hive was a Scrin anti-infantry structures. It releases buzzer swarms upon the approach of hostile ground units. The swarms may be destroyed by enemy fire and the hive will release additional swarms to replace losses.

Buzzers released by the hive may not be controlled by the player. The hive replaces its swarms at no cost.
