Introduction

Help, Canon, Tactics, Speculation, Policy

The EVA database is a page dedicated entirely to providing an in-character guide to the C&C universe. However, seeing how the franchise has gone through numerous iterations and hands in it's life, here's a quick guide to canonicity:

Contents

Canonical games in chronological order

Tiberium Universe

  1. Command & Conquer: Red Alert - the Allied campaign is fully canonical. Soviet campaign is treated as canon whenever it does not contradict the Allied campaign.
  2. Command & Conquer: Red Alert: Counterstrike/Aftermath - additional missions are canonical whenever they do not contradict original Red Alert
  3. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn - both campaigns and videos are fully canonical with the exception of the Nod victory FMV
  4. Command & Conquer: Renegade - canonical whenever it does not contradict Tiberian Dawn
  5. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun - GDI campaign is fully canonical. Nod camapign is treated as canon whenever it does not contradict the GDI campaign.
  6. Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun: Firestorm: - both campaigns are fully canonical
  7. Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars - both campaigns are fully canonical. Background information is canonical as long as it doesn't contradict previous games (e.g. TW states that TW1 happened in 2020, which is not true. It took place during the years 1999 - 2002)
  8. Command & Conquer: Kane's Wrath - Recently announced, the expansion technically covers events from Firesotrm to Tiberium Wars and beyond.
  9. Tiberium - Recently announced, stated to takes place 11 years after TW.

Red Alert Universe

  1. Command & Conquer: Red Alert - the Allied campaign is fully canonical. Soviet campaign is treated as canon whenever it does not contradict the Allied campaign
  2. Command & Conquer: Red Alert: Counterstrike/Aftermath - additional missions are canonical whenever they do not contradict original Red Alert
  3. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 - the Allied campaign is fully canonical. Soviet campaign is treated as canon whenever it does not contradict the Allied campaign.
  4. Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge- the Allied campaign is fully canonical. Soviet campaign is treated as canon whenever it does not contradict the Allied campaign.
  5. Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 - Recently announced.

Generals Universe

  1. Command and Conquer: Generals and Command and Conquer: Generals Zero Hour - All campains are considered canon. All Generals from the "Generals Challenge" of Zero Hour are considered to exist also.

Other canonical material

  1. Manuals are fully canonical, with the exception of contradicting material from the game itself.
  2. Developer comments, posts, blogs, etc. are fully canonical except when they contradict published games.
  3. Keith Ricardo's Tiberium Wars novel is fully canonical whenever it does not contradict facts estabilished by Tiberium Wars.

Finishing notes

Creative writing is welcome as long as it is heavily rooted inside established C&C lore. Example:

  1. It is alright to write that Mammoth tank blueprints were secured and reused by GDI.
  2. It is not alright to write about hot Chandra-on-McNeil action. Just, don't.

Thank you for taking time to read.
