The crane is an auxiliary structure available for construction for both the GDI and Nod. Its primary function is supporting the construction yard in its duties by segregating and preparing prefabricates for building construction.

As such, each crane allows for construction of a another building simultaneously with another. Cranes can't build other Cranes.
