The grenadier is the standard GDI support infantrymen in Command & Conquer: Renegade.

Multiplayer[]
In Command & Conquer mode, grenadiers are equipped with a grenade launcher as their primary weapon. Grenadiers do not cost any credits and can be purchased regardless if the barracks is destroyed.
With their grenade launchers, grenadiers can deal mediocre damage to all targets. A grenadier can harass enemy infantry in tunnels and be used against light vehicles effectively. Grenadiers are also equipped with a backup automatic pistol and a timed C4 for heavier armor and building destruction.
