[edit] Third World War
During the Third World War, General Réne Lyon helped negotiate the entry of the European countries, including France, into the war on the side of the United States against the Soviet Union. The French contributed the Grand Cannon to the Allied arsenal.

Soviet forces advanced to Paris and transformed the Eiffel Tower into a gigantic Tesla Tower by charging it with Tesla Troopers. Much of downtown Paris was destroyed.

France again saw fighting on its soil in World War III. The country was initially overrun by Soviet forces but was later liberated by the Allies.
French contribution to the war includes the mirage tanks (which are piloted by French commanders). Additionally, French personnel were prominent within the Allied forces. Commander Lissette Hanley was also rumored to be part of the French Spy Network.

Paris: The famed "City of Lights". It surrendered to Soviet forces after Tesla Troopers turned the Eiffel Tower into a massive Tesla Coil. In World War III, Soviet Apocalypse Tanks was shown entering the city en masse in a news footage.
Cannes: A famous coastal town in the south. Allied leaders captured by Soviet forces was rescued by Tanya Adams in World War III.
