Generals:A-10 Strike

An A-10 Strike could be ordered by US generals who had reached a certain rank. The strength of the strike depended on the rank attained. At level 1, the strike consisted of a single A-10 ground attack aircraft, which flew towards a designated target before unleashing a barrage of Gatling gun fire and missiles. At level 2 and level 3, the attack consisted of two and three A-10s respectively. At the highest level, an A-10 strike could reduce most buildings to rubble. It was also useful against massed enemy units - particularly those lulling in an enemy base.

Although the A-10s could be shot down by enemy anti-aircraft fire, they were heavily armoured and much tougher than, for example, a Raptor.
