Construction Dozers were used by both the USA and China, primarily to build and repair structures. (Note that although they were differently designed, both factions' dozers performed identically.) They were built at the Command Center and could be repaired at the War Factory.
Dozers built all battlefield structures. They could also repair these, as well as all friendly structures, including those captured or garrisoned by friendly forces.
In addition, Dozers could clear minefields. Also note these things will not attack foes and anti armor will finished it off.

Having no weapons (other than the ability to run infantry over), Dozers needed to be protected whenever they ventured out of the main base (which was often necessary to acquire more supplies etc.). Although surprisingly resilient against small arms fire, Dozers could be reduced to wreckage very quickly by rockets or tank shells.
A favourite, and often very daring, GLA tactic was to attempt to capture an enemy Dozer, thus allowing them to build American and Chinese structures (and consequently units). Jarmen Kell was often employed to neutralise enemy Dozers by killing the driver.
