- Crusader Tank
The Crusader Tank was the basic USA tank in operation during the war against the GLA. Relatively inexpensive and easy to obtain, the Crusader mounted a 125mm cannon, which was effective against tanks and other vehicles. The Crusader's chief advantage over foreign competitors was its high tech armour protection that could be further upgraded as desired. Like most US vehicles, drones could be assigned to guard a particular vehicle.

- Scout Drone/Battle Drone/Hellfire Drone - One of these drones could be selected as an upgrade per unit. The Scout Drone, the most inexpensive, simply provided information to the tank crew that increased their sight range and revealed otherwise difficult-to-spot stealthy units in the vicinity. The Battle Drone was armed with a small machine gun, giving some protection against infantry, and could also repair its parent vehicle. The Hellfire Drone, initially made available later in the conflict, fired a small, but surprisingly effective missile against enemy units. Drones could be upgraded with Drone Armour.
- Composite Armour - Available from the Strategy Center, this upgrade improved the armour of each Crusader.

[edit] Tactics/Counters
The Crusader had an edge over most other tanks due to its superior armour; however it was easily countered by anti-tank infantry and aircraft, as well as long-range units such as the GLA's Rocket Buggy, against which it had little defense. Therefore, the unit was ideally used in conjunction with other units that were able to deal with such threats. Reguardless it will defeat even Overlords in groups.
Also note that this tank will not be available for use by any US General and the Laser Crusader will replaced it.
