Generals:Detention Camp
From Command and Conquer Wiki
Detention Camps were constructed on the battlefield by the USA in order to hold military prisoners and gain valuable battlefield intelligence in the earlier stages of the conflict. From the Detention Camp a commander could access the 'Intelligence' power. Using knowledge gained from inmates and the applied use of satellites, Intelligence enabled US generals to view all enemy units and positions across the battlefield.
As the war progressed the United States developed increasingly advanced satellite technology, rendering the Detention Camp an unnecessary expenditure - not to mention the fact that procedures within these buildings were often deemed morally dubious. With the removal of the Detention Camp the Intelligence power was transferred to the Strategy Center.
