"Gatling Cannons" were used by China to defend their bases. The Gatling Cannon turret itself actually boasted two such guns, able to tear through infantry, light vehicles and aircraft. They were not as effective against tanks; evidently, the Chinese Gatling guns were quite low-calibre, possibly because they expected their Tank Hunters, stationed in Bunkers, to fend off armoured attack. As a stationary turret the Gatling Cannon was vulnerable to attack from long-range artillery units, and required sufficient base power levels to be maintained in order to remain operational.
Note that Gatling cannons of a similar nature (twin Gatling guns) were also developed as upgrades for the Overlord and Helix.
Also the Gattling Tank is basically a mobile Gattling Cannon.
