The Strategy Center was an important building on the battlefield for US generals.

Background
Edit
It was essential for the acquisition and control of the most powerful and sophisticated weapons in the United States arsenal, including the Aurora Bomber and the Particle Cannon. In addition, the Strategy Center was essential for a general to obtain certain upgrades for his forces. Its dish array, uplinked to a network of satellites, allowed Strategy Center personnel to periodically reveal all enemy positions.
Furthermore, the Strategy Center could deploy a single 'battle plan' that enhanced certain aspects of all units under the owner general's command. These plans were as follows:
Whenever one of these battle plans was chosen, the location of the Strategy Center would be revealed to opposing generals, because of the high usage of communication to inform all troops.
When a different strategy was chosen by a general, all infantry and tanks needed to adjust their equipment, immobilizing them for a few seconds. When they only need to choose a strategy (applying a strategy for the first time) or go back to normal strategy(when the Strategy Center was destroyed) , the change was too small to immobilize them. Capturing another Strategy center may enable Commander to choose more than one battle plan (the real effect to unit remain to be questioned). Strategy center may be deployed near front line due to its access to Bombardment tactic (utilizing artilery cannon which is effective against medium range target. This role is somewhat akin to GLA's Palace.
