Allied forces had always preferred to utilize lighter, swifter, more agile tanks than their Soviet counterparts. To this end, Allied forces developed the Grizzly tank, a fairly light Main Battle Tank designed to be able to swiftly puncture through enemy defenses and chew them up from the inside.

The Grizzly tank was designed with swiftness in mind, accordingly, the Grizzly had only a marginal amount of armor. The Grizzly mounted a unique chassis, consisting of two drive trains extending beyond the main hull and crew areas. On top of the chassis was mounted a relatively narrow turret, which contained the main gun of the Grizzly.

Cheaper than the Rhino Tank, it was easier to produce and was a match against most Soviet vehicles. Although not as strong as the Rhino, Grizzly Tanks could outmaneuver the slow Soviet vehicles, occasionally bypassing them completely in order to attack more vulnerable units nearer to the rear of a Soviet tank column, such as V3 rocket launchers. This was a technique occasionally used by Allied commanders in order to stall a soviet attack. Even if the Grizzly tanks would be destroyed, they would at least take out the V3s, which a Soviet commander may have been relying on in order to penetrate the Allied defenses. In addition, the Grizzly Tank was also a very quick unit, making it a serviceable scout unit early in an engagement. Also, using its speed, the Grizzly could crush Soviet infantry before they had a chance to dodge.

During the time of the Psychic Dominator Disaster, the army fielded by Yuri employed Lasher light tanks which were equal to the Grizzly in terms of cost, speed and armor and equally inferior to the Soviet Rhino in firepower. The commanders of Yuri's army knew this fact well and used it to their advantage, swarming the grizzlies with tanks superior in both Quantity and quality and rushing the allied base before they had a chance to react.

The Apocalypse Tank could quickly destroy the Grizzly with little trouble. It was poor against infantry, so large groups of conscripts or Flak Troopers could destroy it, as long as they were dispersed enough to avoid getting run over. Tesla Troopers and other Soviet units using Tesla technology were good against the Grizzly. The Terror Drone was a nightmare to the tank in general-its swiftness meant it could infest the tank and tear it to pieces quickly.
