Helmut Bierman was the president of Germany (Bundesrepublik Deutschland) before and during the First Tiberium War.
As the leader of an important GDI-friendly nation, Bierman was considered in danger of being attacked by the Brotherhood of Nod. Recently recovered intelligence reveals that one of Berlin's most famous landmarks, the Brandenburg Gate, was a potential Nod target.
