- IFV

The IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) was a versatile and lightly armored vehicle used by the Allies during GWWIII. It was designed as a support unit capable of either attack or repair, depending on the unit garrisoned within it.

The IFV could be used by infantry and change to suit them. Alone, it was primarily anti-aircraft and fired a weaker version of the missiles fired by the Patriot Missile System. If A GI got in it, the missile turret would be replaced by a rapid-fire machine gun. If a Navy SEAL or Tanya Adams got in it, it would be able to mow down infantry in a couple of seconds. With an Engineer inside it could repair other vehicles. A Chrono Legionnaire could use the IFV to erase enemies from time. There were many other uses for this vehicle, and some Soviets even used captured IFVs to house Tesla Troopers or Flak Troopers and allow them to fire from the safety of the vehicle; conversely, captured Tesla and Flak weapons systems could be used by Allies in their IFVs. If Yuri's psychics entered the vehicle, it could be used to amplify their psychic power, giving them increased range.

While fast, the IFV was very lightly armored. It required escort from other vehicles or the element of surprise in order to last long. In the Buildup for WWIII a new version of the IFV was created, called Multigunner IFV.
