Intelligence Operations (InOps) is GDI's premier intelligence division. The primary objective of InOps is to gather information about anything that could be of use to the Global Defense Initiative, analyzing this raw information and providing to battlefield commanders in a brief, informative form. Despite their importance, popular opinion among GDI infantry was that InOps' information was rarely reliable. One telling quote, believed to be from Javier Vega, was "On a good day, InOps might be able to tell that Tiberium is green."

InOps is headquartered in Washington DC. Notable operatives include Lieutenant Sandra Telfair and Lieutenant Kirce James.

Recent InOps triumphs include locating the ultimate weakness of the Scrin aliens, thus ending the Third Tiberium War.
