First Tiberium War
In the early middle of the First Tiberium War, a dedicated GDI Commander was sent to repair the GDI base in Germany and push the Nod forces away from Berlin. Solomon took at least one chance to get back at the Brotherhood for Kane's taunt and GDI blamed for the Bialystok scandal to which Mark Sheppard made it clear that GDI denied any massacre in the small city. In Ivano-frankivsk, Solomon retook the abandoned GDI base and repaired the structures weakened in Nod's earlier offensive before building up a force including the use of M.O. Morelli's air force capabilities.
The GDI forces made one strike and destroyed the whole base including that Construction Yard responsible for the offensive, killing the Nod Commander in charge of Ivano-frankivsk. With that done, the GDI Commander and Solomon were on their next mission as the President of Germany, Helmut Bierman returned to Berlin to restore his government and defeat Kane with GDI's help.
