Throughout the First Tiberium War, the original Nod M2 Bradley was not able to stand up to against the tanks of the GDI, and as the war was drawing to an end, a new, lower profile light tank was put in production, featuring an effective four tread system increasing reliability, as well as a better mounted turret. The vehicle was more maneuverable than its primary GDI counterpart, the M1 Abrams, although the former was better armored. The tank was extensively used by the Black Hand. While unsuccessful at turning the tide of the war, the design would later lead to the development of the Tick tank.
