Mao Civil War

Mao is a city and small village in Chad. Along with Oum Hadjer, the villages were in a massacre between both the Global Defense Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod near Lake Chad. The civil wars were uncommon in this country, but Nod strategically won the two against the GDI supporters of their villages attacking both factions supporting one village after another.

The Mao Massacre

In the First Tiberium War, GDI had two villages supporting their faction while Nod has another two villages supporting their faction. Seth told the Nod Commander to massacre the GDI villagers only with a taskforce he was sent with since a victory in Oum Hadjer. The Commander sent soldiers to do the massacre with GDI at the ready and the massacre became the intense heat of this battle including Oum Hadjer. After the battle, Nod won against the GDI supporters with the deaths of those GDI Commanders supporting the villagers, even to the ones in the other village. Both the GDI bases and supporting civilians were suppressed by the Nod forces also as the Commander moves to Mauritania to stop the Warthog A-10s from landing at some airfields bound to be captured and ordered by Seth himself.
