|Moon rocket platform|
Platform for launching a rocket to the Moon
The Moon rocket platform was used by Yuri to travel from his secret island in the South Pacific to the Moon, where he established his Lunar command center. The Soviet Union retaliated by using their decorated and highly-ranked commander to retrieve a small rocket and pursue Yuri's forces to the Moon.
|The following is based on the Soviet campaign for Yuri's Revenge and some details might contradict canon.|
Yuri's forces used their leader to resist arrest from Soviet troops by launching a Rocket to the Moon. Yuri landed on the Moon, but a Soviet commander followed him after Romanov briefed him in Moscow to destroy Yuri's lunar base. The Commander travelled to the Moon and eradicated Yuri's base. Unfortunately, Yuri escaped again via another rocket to Transylvania. The Moon rocket platform was destroyed afterwards after all Soviet Cosmonauts liberated the airless rock.
Although the Moon rocket platform belongs to the non-canon Soviet campaign of Yuri's Revenge, the idea of going to the Moon was revisited in Red Alert 3.
When the Allied forces reached Leningrad to arrest Anatoly Cherdenko, he brought out another moon rocket platform, this time converted from the Peter and Paul Fortress. The Allied commander and Warren Fuller destroyed all Iron Curtain devices, killed Natasha Volkova and arrested Krukov in his headquarters for war crimes. The rocket platform was destroyed and Cherdenko was finally arrested.
