TS Mutant Hijacker Icons

The Mutant Hijacker is an exceptionally skilled mutant trained in the hijacking of enemy vehicles. He appears in Tiberian Sun.

Background

He is an important member of the Forgotten, as he acquires vehicles and technology for them. He wears a long trenchcoat and a salvaged Nod light infantry helmet for protection when stealing a vehicle.

He's able to even steal the Mammoth Mk. II with ease. Like other mutants, he can also heal in Tiberium fields.

Interestingly, the hijacker often preferred to hire his services out to the Brotherhood of Nod. After the Firestorm Crisis, the Forgotten, along with their Hijackers, went into their self-imposed exile.

Trivia

It is unknown as to why the mutants of the Forgotten occasionally pledged their services to Nod, as the Brotherhood in general has an intense bias towards mutants, the most likely reason could potentially be blackmail, but there is nothing in the game nor background material that establishes a conclusive answer.

More than likely though, the hijacker is a mercenary who doesn't care working for anyone.

If the player listens closely when the hijacker responds, they will hear music in the background of his response.
