North America, Americas Supercontinent
Mountainous, temperate and desert environments.
North America is the northern portion of the Americas supercontinent.
Pre-colonized North America was populated with indigenous peoples who crossed the land bridge from Asia between 40,000 to 13,000 years ago. During the 10th century, the Vikings explored and settled in several parts of the North Atlantic. While the Vikings managed to colonize Greenland and Iceland, their settlements in North America were small and they were eventually driven out by the natives. The continent was then re-discovered in 1492 by Christopher Columbus thinking that it was India. European settlers then settled on North America which was known as the "New World". The continent sits north of South America and separated by both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
In the First Tiberium War, North America was under full GDI command and during the Battle for Zaire briefing, Seth planned an attack on the Pentagon to destroy GDI's global and political powers only for himself to be shot by Kane using his pistol for making that mission highly responsible that GDI was really heavy on Command Centers. In the Second Tiberium War, the war took to the United States of America with GDI and Nod fighting each other which was seen later in the Third Tiberium War when Nod and GDI were again fighting each other in many locations across these two Tiberium wars.
The Soviets first attacked the United States of America making their invasion to be a top priority. The Allies, Soviets and Yuri fought each other across major US cities, even one in Mexico and the other near Cuba. The Empire of the Rising Sun took control of Pearl Harbor and Hollywood, while the Allies killed Howard T. Ackerman at Mount Rushmore and the Soviets destroyed the Statue of Liberty in New York. In the Commander's Challenge, FutureTech fought against all three factions in the USA, Canada, Greenland, Mexico, the Caribbean Islands and Panama.
The bulk of US and UN forces, including those from Canada had left North America to fight GLA forces in locales such as Iraq and Kazakhstan. The GLA Commander once went on US soil, having to rescue prisoners and stole twenty toxins to a C-130 Hercules awaiting at the airport. Jarmen Kell quickly let the plane escape as he shoots the American Ranger team going after the GLA's team two division consisting of Rebels. Following the plane's escape, the mission was exposed to the Americans by NATO officials despite the mockery from protests and global reactions, he pulled his own nation out of NATO as ordered by the Portugese General who saw the raid being exposed.
