The phase transport was a peculiar development of the Allied Forces research and development division. Into the frame of an M113 APC a phase generator was built in, allowing it to become completely invisible to the naked eye and most sensors, essentially, the predecessor of the Nod stealth tank.
Due to the space the generator occupied, only a single soldier could be loaded into the transport at any time and drive it, as well as operate the integrated missile turret.
During the war, Volkov, the super soldier of the USSR, managed to procure the phase transport and wreck Allied Forces in the area. Following this event, the research project was shelved. However, it seems the Brotherhood managed to procure the data and blueprints and create their own optic camouflage technology.
