Proton Collider Strike
|“|| Commander, you are cleared to construct the Proton Collider. The effects of this weapon will be catastrophic on the densely packed Soviet bases.|
- Allied Advisor, The Moon Shall Never Have Them
When the Soviets removed Albert Einstein from the space-time continuum, many of his great inventions were lost as well, including the Weather control device. Instead, Allied scientists created a brand new super weapon: the Proton Collider. It is a large, artillery-like weapon that, when activated, unleashes charges of anti-protons, contained within a sustained magnetic field. Collider cannons fire these bolts into a ballistic trajectory towards a designated area. Upon hitting the target, the containment field ceases to function and antiprotons annihilate with protons in regular matter - resulting in powerful explosions. Five such bolts are fired at one time, making the Proton Collider a highly destructive superweapon on par with the Soviet Vacuum Imploder and the Imperial Psionic Decimator.
The technology behind the Proton Collider is one of the Allied's most closely guarded secrets. However, the Allied leadership (as directed by European Union president Rupert Thornley) agreed to disclose this secret to the FutureTech Corporation in exchange for their services. The result was the FTAC-X2 Harbinger gunship, an experimental heavy support aircraft powered by Collider fuel cell and equipped with miniaturized Collider Cannons. The same Collider fuel cell was also used to power FutureTech's experimental Future Tank X-1. The FTC-X3 Pacifier Field Artillery Vehicle's collider-bomblets also work on the same principle, albeit on a smaller scale.

|“|| Tick tock, Commander! I've got a Proton Collider with your name on it and there's not a bloody thing you can do about it!|
- Giles Price, about the Proton Collider
The Proton Collider possesses the greatest area of effect of all superweapons in the game, but does the least amount of damage per unit of area, unless there are large numbers of units in the target area. As it is an antimatter weapon, its destructive potential increases with any enemy units caught within the blast zone, dealing more damage than usual. (Normally a construction yard would take damage equal to about half of its health, but having additional units nearby can increase the damage up to 60-75% of Construction Yard's HP). In a later patch, The Empire's Nanoswarm was counted as unit (as the shield is composed by millions of nano machines) and as such obliteration is not even close to describing the effects of the Proton Collider against anything caught in the radius of a deployed Nanoswarm. Only those under the influence of the Iron Curtain can survive this destructive combination. (Even the Construction Yard or the Super Reactor can be turned into pieces in one firing) Unlike other ultimate weapons, the Proton Collider, for all its destructive capability, cannot deal any damage to aerial units.
In Operation: The Moon Shall Never Have Them, it was authorized for use against the Shuttle Launch Facility and against the Soviet bases protecting the seven Iron Curtains that guarded the Premier's facility.

In the Soviet Operation: No Traitors Tomorrow a Proton Collider at a nearby airbase was destroyed by Oleg and one of the Soviet's new Commanders.
The Proton Collider was also deployed in the Soviet assault on New York but this one was destroyed by the same Soviet commander before President Ackerman had chance to use it.
