Purifying flame is a Black Hand exclusive upgrade. Capitalizing on their use of flame weaponry, Nod scientists have created a tiberium-carbon blend that increase the damages done by every flame-based weapons, it even changes the color to a bright blue, indicating that heat has increased dramatically. This basically means that the Black Hand flame trooper, flame tanks, and Purifiers will do massive burning damage to all ground foes; even MARVs will take massive damage. It also increases the damages done by the Black disciples. The flame can decimate infantry squads and vehicles in a matter of seconds.
