The Rapid Assault and Intercept Deployment (R.A.I.D.) is a GDI Special Forces group, compared to units such as the U.S. Navy SEALs. The are given the newest weapons and technologies, and supported by Orcas and the most recent Titan models.

RAID forces led by FBC Ricardo Vega have been recently deployed to a tiberium processing facility in the Mediterranean Sea that has not responded to comunications. He and his RAID division have been deployed to investigate why.
