The Southwest Training Center was a GDI facility where troops could train for the first time or go back for practice. It was also the largest GDI base in North America and had multiple Orca fighter squadrons on active duty and in training along with armored units like Titan battle walkers. The area consisted of mountainous terrain and desert heat providing GDI soldiers with two extreme environments to help harden their skills. GDI commander Michael McNeil was seen training in the base at the start of the Second Tiberium War.
