These triangular aircraft were used by GDI commanders in supersonic air attacks, capable of wiping out enemy aircraft by flying in from high altitude, generating a sonic boom shockwave that heavily damages and destroys most aircraft within the vicinity. The attack does no damage to ground units, however.
A few were sighted by the Black Hand in Chile during the mission to capture Dr. Alphonse Giraud along with the Ironside experimental troop transport in the space port. Both were subsequently destroyed in the battle.
A Space Command Uplink is required to call in these experimental fighters, and it also comes with a hefty price tag-2500 credits. Despite its inability to attack ground forces, however, it is extremely effective against air forces, especially the Scrin' superior fleet of Devastator Warships and Planetary Assault Carriera.
They also strike their targets with minimal delay, making it easy to cripple advancing Air Forces without impunity.
- The unit's design bears a striking resemblance to the conceptual FB-22 Strike Raptor.
