Should the Red Alert allies faction be here 2?
No. The US was only tangentially involved in the RA1 storyline, plus, the Admins aren't sure whether we're going to include it, as of yet. Maybe. --Dthaiger 17:40, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
Should the US units from Red alert be called Allied forces? or something? Just to be sure, i just like to ask questions and/or create an article...

NATO is mentioned in the Tiberium Wars novel (which apparently Mobius worked for before GDI was formed). It's probably not much of a stretch to say the former Allied Forces nations formed the alliance. --Eldarone 06:26, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- NATO is a military alliance, not a military junta. Remember, the Allied Forces were a temporary military government and command instituted to deal with the Soviet threat.Shaur M. S. Grizlin 06:49, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

What? If we consider Red Alert to be part of the storyline - no NATO should exist, there were already Allies so no need for NATO anyway.... That's of course changes, if we consider Red Alert to be separate universe (our (Russian) C&C community hold this viewpoint)
- Well, the Russian community is wrong (partially). Red Alert 1 is both part of the Tiberian Universe and the Red Alert Universe, it's the point from which both universes originate (you know, time machine created two timelines or something). Westwood EXPLICITLY stated that Red Alert 1 is a prequel to Tiberian Dawn. Shaur M. S. Grizlin 09:10, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
