I would say that the Steel Talons better train their engineers making them less cowardly,which allows them to fire their pistol.All engineers carry pistols but have not spent much time on the firing range. In one of the idle animations for the GDI engineer,you see him pull out his pistol and almost immediatly accidentally drop it then go down to pick it back up. In one of the death animations,the engineer pulls out his pistol at the last minute but then drops it and dies. Evancartoonist 20:13, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

An amazingly stupid question - how can an engeneer capture a building....if his (never used ingame, although) sidearm is so ineffective and both GDI and Nod's buildings have personnel, wielding GD-2 assault rifles
