Why do railguns emit harmful radiation? --Dthaiger 19:06, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- That's the rationale. Plus, we do not know what kind of power source the weapon uses (possibly Tiberium) and just how exactly it works. And, it fits. Mikael Grizzly 19:08, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
- I always rationalized it as a matter of recoil - in the hands of any normal human, any sort of powerful railgun would probably break the person's shoulder in addition to firing the round. --Dthaiger 05:40, 28 May 2007 (UTC)
I was under the impression that a Ghost stalker was simply a kind of special commando rank, and not an individual character. The article makes this unclear (it doesn't go either way). What do other people think? --Snow93(talk)(contrib) 16:21, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- Well, the Ghostalker was an unique character in the GDI campaign, remember the long haired muscled guy? MikaelGrizzly 16:46, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- I don't think that's necessarily a unique character; you can build a ghost stalker in skirmishes and any mission if you reach the required tech level, and doesn't "the" ghoststalker die after TS, only to come back in FS? --Snow93(talk)(contrib) 12:47, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
- There was a build limit of one Ghostalker, implying his uniquity. Also, consult the promotional material and GDI campaign vids and missions, Ghostalker in TS always appears as a unique person. MikaelGrizzly 14:10, 10 June 2007 (UTC)

- I haven't played Tiberian Sun (much), but by the sounds of things Ghoststalker is rather like Colonel Burton (or any hero) in Generals. Anyone can build him in a skirmish/multiplayer game, but in the single-player game he is a unique person, rather than simply being a 'commando' or somesuch. I would suggest that Ghoststalker is similarly a unique character, who just happens to be buildable in multiplayer (you know, to add a bit of fun). Makron1n 14:17, 10 June 2007 (UTC)
The Cyborg Commando and Mammoth MK II had the same build limit. I think the ghostalker is just a hightly trained mutant, likely by GDI, that has advanced (and expensive) weapons. The recoil effect suggested above may explain why they only have such weapons to mutants. I beleive that was a discripton about them in the manual.--24.172.193.143 20:18, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
- The mutants were not allied with the GDI prior to TWII. The manual states that he's a Forgotten commando, not GDI trained Forgotten commando. MikaelGrizzly 21:49, 12 June 2007 (UTC)
Where is the unit after the Firestorm crisis?
Just letting you know, in the mission that you free the Mutants from the Prison camp (Misson 9 part 1), if you go north and around then behind the cliff near your starting position you'll find a building where Ghoststalker and the Mutant Hjacker will join up with your forces. --68.219.76.197 20:21, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
