Talk:Mammoth tank

From Command and Conquer Wiki

PC Game "Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising" has has a "Mammoth Tank" that is exactly like the original Mammoth Tank in Command and Conquer Tiberian Dawn, with 2 heavy cannons and 2 missile pods. The game also featured a "Medium Tank", exactly like the from from C&C as well.

Really? How odd! Guess you can't trademark the concept of an infeasibly enormous armoured vehicle. Makron1n 22:04, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

I tried looking up photos of the tank in hostile waters and there is none. Are you sure its in there?(Assaulthead 21:43, 28 September 2007 (UTC))

[edit] Giant Ants

How did the Mammoth Tanks get into the hands of the Allies? Thats impossible. How they got the designs when the Soviets fall and used it on the Giant Ants?

Captured Soviet blueprints. Your point...? Shaur M. S. Grizlin 14:18, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

I also saw Starvos escorted by a Mammoth Tank to the Queen Ants chamber. (Assaulthead 21:43, 28 September 2007 (UTC))

So? Shaur M. S. Grizlin 11:21, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

Did you see that to? How the Allies fit a big oversized tank into a facility? The ants are inside a building not in a battlefield!(Assaulthead 12:10, 30 September 2007 (UTC))

BS. Those were underground tunnels in an underground facility. Quite big. Shaur M. S. Grizlin 13:56, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Problems

Whos been deleting these new edits I put on? IG The Allies used the Tanks on the giant ants. Whos not doing the better edits on the Fighter Jets and Bomber Jet Sections? Stop deleting out of control we are trying to help. Plus someone kepts on ignoring my edits and put up a protection log on this. People delete words like Mammoth Walker is retired after Firestorm in the Second War section and delete the Mammoth27 Notable deployments section.

  • 69, calm down

The people who delete your changes are in agreement that what they delete is generally not Canon. The Giant Ant missions, while fun, are more than likely not a real element of the C&C story, at least not as EA defines it.

[edit] Note

Also, GDI in Cairo during the Second War founded and used 3 old but still tough Mammoth Tanks during the attempt to stop the WAM Launch.(Assaulthead 09:35, 30 September 2007 (UTC))

Look closer to the missile pods to see how many missiles it carry. Also look closer at the X-66 Mammoth Tank, there are chainguns on the thing.(Assaulthead 21:30, 30 September 2007 (UTC))

Unlike the older Mammoths in the past, the GDI deployed the Tank earlier unlike the X-66 and the Mammoth Mark II which were destroyed by Nod to make them arrived late.(Assaulthead 22:22, 13 October 2007 (UTC))
