Where'd the new special forces titan come from? Can I have a link to whatever site this is on?--Phoenix-wiki 15:07, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

- What's this "adaptive armour?" It's on both the Steel Talons page and this one.
- From what I've heard, it boosts the Titan's HP, and makes it immune to EMPs.

I would say that the Titan was replaced by the Predator because the Titan was too heavy to be airlifted by the new Ox Transport. APC on stilts 20:42, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Perhaps, although a number of other reasons have been given, such as the greater reliability and cost effectiveness of a traditional tank. Makron1n 21:18, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Special forces ?Titan?
I dont think this is a titan. I could be wrong but those look like bullets it is shooting. It is in my opinion a wolverine.
- Nope, it's a Titan with double cannons, confirmed by Polish CD-Action. Also, watch the gameplay movies. Also, if it was shooting bullets, would it be aiming them like a mortar? Shaur M. S. Grizlin 20:05, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
- Interviews from EA producers and PC magazines have also confirmed the unit to be a Titian.--Eldarone 02:58, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
this titan doesn't apear to be a model unit built for direct armored combat and it has an incredably light frame i think that this is a truely new model not just built off of the Steel Talons mark 2 chassis. GDI is deffinatly spending alot of money to combat the Scrin more than NOD if you look at the very end of TW3 scrin campaign
This is all just observation so please bear with me. From what I can tell about what little we know about the T-MKIII, is that its clearly smaller then its MK1 and MKII counter parts. It looks to stand about 15 to possibly 20 feet tall, that’s 5 to 10 feet shorter then the last two types. Its upper torso looks to small to house a driver, control systems, and power source so I would guess it’s operated by a combat IA system similar to that of an EVA AI, so in short it’s like a combat walker drone. This theory is also backed up by the fact that its voice response is very much mechanical and clearly not organic like that of a Human. I have also noticed that the legs are a much more simple design, as well as heavily armored. So with its smaller size and easier maintenance it would be cheaper to build and maintain. As for it's armor and duribilty is any ones guess, but it's upper torso could be better armored then it looks. (Scourge15 17:54, 13 June 2008 (UTC))
