Tesla Reactor

The Tesla Reactor was the Soviet power source for military bases during the Great World War III. It took up more land space then and produced less power then the Allied Power Plant of the time, but was cheaper to produce. If a spy managed to infiltrate a Tesla Reactor, they could cut the power to the Soviet base for a short period of time.

It was eventually replaced by the RA3 Era Reactors.
