The Tupolev Tu-16 (Allied reporting name: Badger) bomber was the primary long range multi-role aircraft of the USSR during Great World War II. It had a swept-back wing design and had two turbojet engines providing it with superior speed as well as a large cargohold, large enough to carry an entire paratrooper unit or a compliment of coventional and parachute bombs. However, it's armor was rather weak against anti-aircraft fire.

After the war, the Soviets air forces were devastated. By the Great World War III, the Soviets came to rely on the Kirov airship. During the Psychic Dominator Disaster, the USSR used an improved MiG for bombing attacks.
In Red Alert 3 Natasha uses the Badger Bomber for Tanks, Ships and the Structures.

After the war, the Tu-16 was gradually phased out of use, replaced by newer long-range bomber craft
