Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Viet: Cộng hòa Xã hội Chủ nghĩa Việt Nam) it is the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. It is bordered by China to the north, Laos to the northwest, Cambodia to the southwest, and the South China Sea, referred to as East Sea (Biển Đông), to the east. Its flag has red all over and a yellow star in the middle.
Vietnam became independent from Imperial China in 938 AD, following the Battle of Bạch Đằng River, though it's believed that the country is supposedly ruled by Hồng Bàng Dynasty for over 2000 years, until the third century BC. Successive Vietnamese royal dynasties flourished as the nation expanded geographically and politically into Southeast Asia, until the Indochina Peninsula was colonized by the France in the mid-19th century.
However, with France itself been distract by the USSR's aggressive in Europe, Communist Party of Vietnam lead by Ho Chi Minh has force the last king of Nguyễn Dynasty's abdicate and establish a communist government.

Second World WarEdit
During the Great World War II, its port city Da Nang became, like Pakistan's Karachi, a major command post to Soviet Premier, Josef Stalin against the Allied Nations in Europe and planning a military invasion on Asia to have all Allied troops move to Asia from the Allied High Command in London, Great Britain (Red Alert) where the Soviets must win their final mission there.
Vietnam's response to the Soviets for joining up was incredibly unknown to the Red Army, if the Vietnamese would team up against the Allies in Europe. Like Pakistan, it wasn't confirmed under Soviet leadership.
Third World WarEdit
It came as a member of the World Socialist Alliance in the Great World War III with the USSR and its leading countries including Iraq, Cuba, Libya, Egypt and Kazakhstan. The S-E Asian country joined in to destroy the USA and its leading Allies but it had to defeat a common enemy - Yuri in both 1972 and 1973.
