The Third World War (WWIII) refers to the war following the Great World War II. Confusingly, there are no less than three such wars (four if you count the First Tiberium War*). This is the result of time travel: after each war interference from time travellers altered the timeline causing each version of WWII to be replaced by another version.
- Third World War (Red Alert 2), the struggle following the Second World War.
- Third World War (Yuri's Revenge), the repeat of the war caused by time-travelling Allies attempting to stop Yuri's Psychic Dominators.
- Third World War (Red Alert 3), the repeat of the war caused by time-travelling Soviets attempting to avert defeat after Yuri's Revenge.
